I’m Not A Crazy Health Nut, But I Like Coconut Oil

Okay, so a lot of health nuts like to do weird things. One thing is that they like to ingest cod liver oil just for the fun of it. Now cod, by itself, is a pretty disgusting fish. But it is even worse, when you have fermented liver oil that you are eating. Not only that, it is expensive. Another thing that health nuts do, is they like to eat desiccated liver. Now I don’t like liver, but once it’s desiccated, I like it even less. My wife says that you need to eat liver because it is good for you and because it contains iron. I tell her that if she makes liver for dinner, then I’m going to McDonald’s.

Man, sometimes healthy eating is really crazy. But there happens to be two things that I agree with as far as healthy eating goes. One of them is coconut oil, because I like the taste and if it tastes good and is healthy, then that is definitely a winner. I like to eat coconut oil on bread, and I like to eat it with popcorn. I will also eat French toast cooked in coconut oil, as well as pancakes. My wife says extra virgin coconut oil is better so that’s the type that we use. There are actually a lot of uses for coconut oil. In our house, we use it mostly for dietary and nutritional needs. But there are a lot of people that use it for weight loss, and for healthy hair and skin.

The other dietary thing that I agree with is grass-fed cows.  Most cows in  America are actually raised on feedlots. Grass-fed cows are so much better.  This beef makes the best tasting meatloaf and chili ever, and I can’t wait to try the steaks! We just got our cow back from the butcher, and you wouldn’t believe how delicious it is.  If your wife says that it is time to eat healthy, then you can compromise. Tell her that you are willing to eat the grass-fed beef, and the coconut oil, if it means you don’t have to eat the desiccated liver and the fermented cod. (She will think that you are actually trying to compromise, but you are going to still be getting your way.  It is great!)
